licensee proposes to replace one of the
project’s three existing turbine/generator
units with a new unit. The project’s
maximum hydraulic capacity would
remain the same but the new unit would
be able to operate over a greater range
of flows and the licensee intends to
release the required minimum flow
through this unit rather than over the
spillway. The proposal would raise the
project’s total installed capacity from
3,300 to 3,600 kilowatts.
