the President amended the cost-sharing
arrangements regarding Federal funds
provided under the authority of the
Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and
Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C.
5121 et seq. (the ‘‘Stafford Act’’), as
follows:
I authorize continuation until 11:59 p.m.

power restoration assistance and emergency
public transportation assistance (including
emergency protective measures to secure

Alabama; Amendment No. 19 to Notice
of a Major Disaster Declaration

ACTION: Notice.
AGENCY:
This notice amends the notice
of a major disaster for the State of
Alabama (FEMA–1971–DR), dated April
28, 2011, and related determinations.
DATES: Effective Date: November 28,
2012.
FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT:
Peggy Miller, Office of Response and
Recovery, Federal Emergency
Management Agency, 500 C Street SW.,
Washington, DC 20472, (202) 646–3886.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is
hereby given that, in a letter dated
November 28, 2012, the President
amended the cost-sharing arrangements
regarding Federal funds provided under
the authority of the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.
(the ‘‘Stafford Act’’), in a letter to W.
Craig Fugate, Administrator, Federal
Emergency Management Agency,
Department of Homeland Security,
under Executive Order 12148, as
follows:
SUMMARY:
I have determined that the damage in
certain areas of the State of Alabama
resulting from severe storms, tornadoes,
straight-line winds, and flooding during the
period of April 15 to May 31, 2011, is of
sufficient severity and magnitude that special
cost sharing arrangements are warranted
regarding Federal funds provided under the
Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and
Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et
seq. (the ‘‘Stafford Act’’).
Therefore, I amend my declaration of April
28, 2011, to authorize Federal funds for all
categories of Public Assistance at 90 percent
of total eligible costs.
