(the ‘‘Stafford Act’’), as follows: Federal Emergency Management Agency SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: I authorize continuation until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, of the 100% Federal cost share for emergency power restoration assistance and emergency public transportation assistance (including emergency protective measures to secure public transportation infrastructure), including direct Federal assistance, for those areas within counties designated for Public Assistance. This adjustment to State and local cost sharing applies only to Public Assistance costs for emergency power restoration assistance and emergency public transportation assistance, including direct Federal assistance. All other Public Assistance costs will continue to be reimbursed at 75 percent of total eligible costs. The law specifically prohibits a similar adjustment for funds provided to States for Other Needs Assistance (Section 408) and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (Section 404).
