Needs and Uses: In accordance with Executive Order 12862, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a non-regulatory agency of the Department of Commerce, proposes to conduct surveys—both quantitative and qualitative—designed to evaluate our current program evaluation data collections by means of, but not limited to, focus groups, reply cards that accompany product distributions, and Web-based surveys and dialogue boxes that offer customers the opportunity to express their views on the programs they are asked to evaluate. NIST will limit its inquires to data collections that solicit strictly voluntary opinions and will not collect information that is required or regulated. Steps will be taken to assure the anonymity of respondents who participate in a collection conducted under this request. Pursuant to the requirements of the FTZ Board’s regulations (see 15 CFR 400.33(e)(2); formerly 15 CFR 400.27(d)(2)(v)(B)), the FTZ Board is now inviting public comment on new evidence submitted by the City of Eloy on July 31, 2012, on which there has not been an opportunity for public comment. The comment period on the new evidence is open through November 13, 2012.
