Under the
Reauthorized Magnuson-Stevens
Conservation and Management Act, the
SSC is the body responsible for
reviewing the Council’s scientific
materials. The original notice published
in the Federal Register on September
25, 2012 (77 FR 58981). This notice is
to add an agenda topic to an earlier
noticed meeting. The added agenda
topic would allow the SSC to consider
additional analyses of the wreckfish
population. All other previouslypublished information remains the
same.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
These meetings are physically
accessible to people with disabilities.

interpretation or other auxiliary aids

a work session for the primary purpose
of drafting SAS reports and
recommendations for the November 2–
7, 2012 Council meeting in Costa Mesa,
CA. The primary purpose of the meeting
is to review information in the Pacific
Council’s November 2012 meeting
briefing book related to salmon and
ecosystem-based management, and to
develop comments and
recommendations for consideration at
the November 2012 Pacific Council
meeting.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained in the meeting agenda may
come before the SAS for discussion,
those issues may not be the subject of
formal SAS action during this meeting.
SAS action will be restricted to those
issues specifically listed in this notice
and any issues arising after publication
of this notice that require emergency
action under Section 305(c) of the
Magnuson-Stevens Fishery
Conservation and Management Act,
provided the public has been notified of
the intent to take final action to address
the emergency.
