    On October 18 and 20, 2012, the Federal Energy Regulatory 
Commission (FERC or Commission) Office of Energy Project's staff will 
hold public scoping meetings for El Paso Natural Gas Company's (El 
Paso) Sasabe Lateral Project (Project). The Project is a planned 60-
