Abstract of proposed collection: The
export, temporary import, temporary
export and brokering of defense articles,
defense services and related technical
data are licensed by the Directorate of
Defense Trade Controls in accordance
with the International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (22 CFR parts 120–130) and
Section 38 of the Arms Export Control
Act. Any person who engages in the
business of manufacturing or exporting
defense articles, defense services, and
related technical data, or the brokering
thereof, must register with the
Department of State. Persons desiring to
engage in brokering activities must
submit an application or written request
to conduct the transaction to the
Department to obtain a decision
whether it is in the interests of U.S.
foreign policy and national security to
approve the transaction.

the Directorate of Defense Trade
Controls via the following methods:

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The FAA
invites public comment on the request
to release approximately 2.75 acres of
airport property at the Meade Municipal
Airport (MEJ) under the provisions of 49
U.S.C. 47107(h)(2). On February 1, 2012,
the City of Meade’s City Administrator
requested from the FAA that
approximately 2.75 acres of property be
released for sale to Max Papay’s Water
Hauling Services. On August 16, 2012,
the FAA determined that the request to
release property at Meade Municipal
Airport (MEJ) submitted by the Sponsor
meets the procedural requirements of
the Federal Aviation Administration
and the release of the property does not
and will not impact future aviation
needs at the airport. The FAA may
approve the request, in whole or in part,
no sooner than thirty days after the
publication of this Notice.
The following is a brief overview of
the request:
Meade Municipal Airport (MEJ) is
proposing the release of a parcel,
totaling 2.75 acres. The release of land
is necessary to comply with Federal
Aviation Administration Grant
Assurances that do not allow federally
acquired airport property to be used for
non-aviation purposes. The sale of the
subject property will result in the land
at the Meade Municipal Airport (MEJ)
being changed from aeronautical to
nonaeronautical use and release the
lands from the conditions of the AIP
Grant Agreement Grant Assurances. In
accordance with 49 U.S.C.
47107(c)(2)(B)(i) and (iii), the airport
will receive fair market value for the
property, which will be subsequently
reinvested in another eligible airport

FHWA invites public
comments about our intention to request
the Office of Management and Budget’s
(OMB) approval for a new information
collection, which is summarized below
under SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION. We
published a Federal Register Notice
with a 60-day public comment period
on this information collection on June
22, 2012. We are required to publish
this notice in the Federal Register by
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
