from members of the public and affected
agencies concerning the proposed
collection of information to: (1) Evaluate
whether the proposed collection is
necessary for the proper performance of
the functions of the agency, including
whether the information will have
practical utility; (2) Evaluate the
accuracy of the agency’s estimate of the
burden of the proposed collection of
information; (3) Enhance the quality,
utility, and clarity of the information to
be collected; and, (4) Minimize the
burden of the collection of information
on those who are to respond including
the use of appropriate automated
collection techniques or other forms of
information technology, e.g., permitting

Act of 1969, 42 U.S.C., Section
4332(2)(c), the National Park Service
announces the availability of the Draft
Shoreline Restoration Management Plan
and Environmental Impact Statement,
Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore,
Indiana.
SUMMARY:
The Draft Shoreline Restoration
Management Plan and Environmental
Impact Statement (SRMP) will be
available for public comment for a 60day public review period. Comments
must be received no later than 60 days
after the Environmental Protection
Agency publishes its notice of
availability in the Federal Register.
Public meetings will be held; specific
dates, times, and locations will be
announced in the local media, on the
Internet, and will also be available by
contacting the park’s headquarters at
