k. Description of Application: The
licensee proposes to amend the license
for the Clackamas River Hydroelectric
Project to remove two transmission lines
that are no longer primary transmission
lines. The licensee is requesting to
delete the 17-mile Faraday-McLoughlin
double-circuit transmission line and the
2.7-mile River Mill-Faraday
transmission line from the project. The
license’s application states that both of
the transmission lines function as part
of the licensee’s transmission and
distribution system and are not
jurisdictional under Part 1 of the
Federal Power Act. The proposed
amendment will reduce the amount of
lands of the United States that the
project occupies by 1.4 acres.
