Two earlier meetings of the committee were held on June 28 and August 7 of this year. The committee’s charter, drafted in accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), as amended, 5 U.S.C. App. 2, sets forth policies for the operation of the advisory committee and is available on the Department’s Web site at https:// www.dot.gov/affairs/2012/dot5912.html. The agenda for that meeting will consist of a discussion by committee members of recommendations for proposed initiatives to be presented to the Secretary of Transportation.
