AGENCY:
This notice announces the biannual meeting of the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) Aeronautical
Charting Forum (ACF) to discuss
informational content and design of
aeronautical charts and related
products, as well as instrument flight
procedures development policy and
design criteria.
DATES: The ACF is separated into two
distinct groups. The Instrument
Procedures Group (IPG) will meet
October 23, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. The Charting Group will meet
October 24 and 25, 2012 from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m.
ADDRESSES: The meeting will be hosted
by Air Line Pilots Association at 535
Herndon Parkway, Herndon, VA 20192.

meeting of the FAA Aeronautical
Charting Forum to be held from October
23 through October 25, 2012, from 8:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Air Line Pilots
Association, at their offices at 535

The Instrument Procedures Group
agenda will include briefings and
discussions on recommendations
regarding pilot procedures for
instrument flight, as well as criteria,

AGENCY:
The Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) announces its
determination that the Noise Exposure
Maps submitted by the Sanford Airport
Authority for Orlando Sanford
International Airport under the
provisions of 49 U.S.C. 47501 et seq.
(Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement
Act) and 14 CFR Part 150 are in
compliance with applicable
requirements.
SUMMARY:
Effective Date: The effective date
of the FAA’s determination on the noise
exposure maps is August 16, 2012.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This
notice announces that the FAA finds
that the Noise Exposure Maps submitted
for Orlando Sanford International
Airport are in compliance with
applicable requirements of Title 14
Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part
150, effective August 16, 2012. Under 49
U.S.C. section 47503 of the Aviation
Safety and Noise Abatement Act (the
Act), an airport operator may submit to

the FAA Noise Exposure Maps which
meet applicable regulations and which
depict non-compatible land uses as of
the date of submission of such maps, a
description of projected aircraft
operations, and the ways in which such
operations will affect such maps. The
Act requires such maps to be developed
in consultation with interested and
affected parties in the local community,
government agencies, and persons using
the airport. An airport operator who has
submitted Noise Exposure Maps that are
found by FAA to be in compliance with
the requirements of 14 CFR Part 150,
promulgated pursuant to the Act, may
submit a Noise Compatibility Program
for FAA approval which sets forth the
measures the airport operator has taken
or proposes to take to reduce existing
non-compatible uses and prevent the
introduction of additional noncompatible uses.
The FAA has completed its review of
the Noise Exposure Maps and
accompanying documentation
submitted by Sanford Airport Authority.

‘‘Noise Exposure Maps’’ as defined in
Section 150.7 of 14 CFR part 150
