Notice of Administrative Settlement
Agreement for Recovery of Past
Response Costs Pursuant to the
Comprehensive Environmental
Response, Compensation, and Liability
Act of 1980, as Amended

Notice; Request for Public
Comment.
ACTION:
In accordance with the
Comprehensive Environmental
Response, Compensation, and Liability
Act (‘‘CERCLA’’), notice is hereby given
that a proposed administrative
settlement agreement for recovery of
past response costs (‘‘Proposed
Agreement’’) associated with Hamburg
Mill Creek Superfund Site, Berks
County, Pennsylvania was executed by
the Environmental Protection Agency
(‘‘EPA’’) and is now subject to public
comment, after which EPA may modify
or withdraw its consent if comments
received disclose facts or considerations
that indicate that the Proposed
Agreement is inappropriate, improper,
or inadequate. The Proposed Agreement
would resolve potential EPA claims
under Section 107(a) of CERCLA,
against Weis Markets Inc. (‘‘Settling
Party’’). The Proposed Agreement would
require Settling Party to reimburse EPA
$30,000.00 for past response costs
incurred by EPA for the Site.
For thirty (30) days following the date
of publication of this notice, EPA will
receive written comments relating to the
Proposed Agreement. EPA’s response to
any comments received will be available
for public inspection at the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency,
Region III, 1650 Arch Street,
Philadelphia, PA 19103.
DATES: Comments must be submitted on
or before thirty (30) days after the date
of publication of this notice.

available for public inspection at the

Sunshine Act Meeting
Pursuant to the provisions of the
‘‘Government in the Sunshine Act’’ (5
U.S.C. 552b), notice is hereby given that
at 10:01 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14,
2012, the Board of Directors of the
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
met in closed session to consider
matters related to the Corporation’s
supervision, corporate, and resolution
activities.
In calling the meeting, the Board
determined, on motion of Director
Thomas M. Hoenig (Appointive),
seconded by Director Jeremiah O.
Norton (Appointive), concurred in by
Director Thomas J. Curry (Comptroller
of the Currency), Director Richard
Cordray (Director, Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau), and Acting
Chairman Martin J. Gruenberg, that
Corporation business required its
consideration of the matters which were
to be the subject of this meeting on less
than seven days’ notice to the public;
that no earlier notice of the meeting was
practicable; that the public interest did
not require consideration of the matters
in a meeting open to public observation;
and that the matters could be
considered in a closed meeting by
authority of subsections (c)(4), (c)(6),
(c)(8), (c)(9)(A)(ii), (c)(9)(B), and (c)(10)
of the ‘‘Government in the Sunshine
Act’’ (5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4), (c)(6), (c)(8),
(c)(9)(A)(ii), (c)(9)(B), and (c)(10)).
The meeting was held in the Board
Room of the FDIC Building located at
550–17th Street NW., Washington, DC.

Sunshine Act Meeting
Pursuant to the provisions of the ``Government in the Sunshine
Act'' (5 U.S.C. 552b), notice is hereby given that at 10:01 a.m. on
