Copper Valley filed their license application on August 29, 2011. On December 9, 2011, the Commission issued a notice of application accepted for filing and solicited comments and final terms and conditions. In January and February of 2012, several resources agencies filed for extensions of time to file comments and terms and conditions. The Commission granted these requests on February 4, 2012. k. This application has been accepted for filing and is now ready for environmental analysis (EA). l. At this time, we anticipate the need to prepare a draft and final EA. The draft EA will be sent to all persons and entities on the Commission’s service and mailing lists for the project. The EA will include our recommendations for operating procedures, as well as environmental protection and enhancement measures that should be part of any license issued by the Commission.
