381.302 and 385.207, Wisconsin Electric
Power Company (Wisconsin Electric)
submitted a petition requesting the
Commission to issue a declaratory order
approving: (1) Wisconsin Electric’s
proposed accounting treatment of a coal
contract buydown; and (2) waiver of the
Commission’s fuel clause regulation to
allow Wisconsin Electric to recoup the
cost of the coal contract buydown
through Wisconsin Electric’s cost-based,
Formula Rate Wholesale Sales Tariff.
