Abstract This collection is needed by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) to provide services to exporters who have either lost their original license and require a duplicate, or who wish to transfer their ownership of an approved license to another party. Section 750.9 of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) outlines the process for obtaining a duplicate license when a license is lost or destroyed.
