The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) will be
submitting the following information
collection request for review and
clearance in accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995. The information collection notice
is published to obtain comments from
the public and affected agencies.
Comments are encouraged and will be
accepted for 60 days until August 17,
2012.
Written comments and suggestions
regarding items contained in this notice,
and especially with regard to the
estimated public burden and associated

the FHA insurance fund.

organizations participate in HUD’s
multifamily housing programs. The
information will be used to evaluate
participants’ previous participation in
government programs and ensure that
the past record is acceptable prior to
granting approval to participate in
HUD’s multifamily housing programs.
The collection of this information is
designed to be 100 percent automated
and digital submission of all data and
certifications is available via HUD’s
secure Internet systems. However HUD
will provide for both electronic and
paper submissions until it publishes
revised regulations.

Estimation of the total numbers of
hours needed to prepare the information
collection including number of
respondents, frequency of response, and
hours of response: The estimated
number of respondents is 10,000; the
frequency of responses is 1 unless
additional actions require additional

automated system is estimated to be 30
minutes per electronic submission, one
hour for paper submission and the
estimated total annual burden hours are
7,500.
