Description of the need for the information and proposed use: HUD requires that appraisals and inspections be performed on certain FHA insured properties and the FHA Appraiser and Inspector rosters assure that HUD has the ability to track the performance of appraisers and inspectors and sanction those who are not performing adequately, this is necessary to protect the FHA insurance fund. The number of respondents is 17,650, the number of responses is 468,150, the frequency of response is on occasion, and the burden hour per response is less than 15 minutes.
