SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: AGENCY: Postponement of Preliminary Determinations On January 24, 2012, the Department of Commerce (the ‘‘Department’’) published a notice of initiation of antidumping duty investigations of utility scale wind towers from the People’s Republic of China and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.1 The notice of initiation stated that the Department, in accordance with section 773(b)(1)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (the ‘‘Act’’), and 19 CFR 351.205(b)(1), would issue its preliminary determinations for these investigations, unless postponed, no later than 140 days after the date of the initiation. The preliminary determinations of these antidumping duty investigations are currently due no later than June 6, 2012. Because there are no compelling reasons to deny the request, the Department, in accordance with section 733(c)(1)(A) of the Act, is postponing the deadline for the preliminary determinations to no later than 190 days after the date on which the Department initiated these investigations.
