11 a.m.–5 p.m., May 8, 2012 (Closed).
Place: Teleconference.
Status: The meeting will be closed to the
public in accordance with provisions set
forth in Section 552b(c)(4) and (6), Title 5
U.S.C., and the Determination of the Director,
Management Analysis and Services Office,
CDC, pursuant to Public Law 92–463.
Matters To Be Discussed: The meeting will
include the initial review, discussion, and
evaluation of applications received in
response to ‘‘Development and Testing of a
Clinic-Based Intervention to Increase Dual
Protection against Unintended Pregnancy
and STDs among High Risk Female Teens,
FOA DP12–001, initial review.’’

announces the following meeting of the
aforementioned committee:
TIME AND DATE: 8 a.m.–2:50 p.m., May 2,
2012.
PLACE: CDC, Global Communications
Center, 1600 Clifton Road NE., Building
19, Auditorium B3, Atlanta, Georgia
30333.
STATUS: Open to the public, limited only
by the space available.
PURPOSE: The BSC, OID, provides
advice and guidance to the Secretary,
Department of Health and Human
Services; the Director, CDC; the
Director, OID; and the Directors of the
National Center for Immunization and
Respiratory Diseases, the National
Center for Emerging and Zoonotic
Infectious Diseases, and the National
Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis,
STD, and TB Prevention, CDC, in the
following areas: strategies, goals, and
priorities for programs; research within
the national centers; and overall
strategic direction and focus of OID and
the national centers.
MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED: The meeting
will include reports from the BSC OID
working groups, brief updates from the
infectious disease national centers, and
focused discussions on CDC’s safe water
activities, immunization infrastructure,
and sexually transmitted diseases.
Agenda items are subject to change as
priorities dictate.

(UPD) Program Narrative Format for
Discretionary Grant Application Forms.
OMB No.: 0970–0139
Description: The proposed
information collection would extend the
Administration for Children and
Families’ (ACF) Uniform Project
Description (UPD). The UPD provides a
uniform grant application format for
applicants to submit project information
in response to ACF discretionary
funding opportunity announcements.
ACF uses this information, along with
other OMB-approved information
collections (Standard Forms), to
evaluate and rank applications. Use of
the UPD helps to protect the integrity of
ACF’s award selection process. All ACF
discretionary grant programs are
required to use this application format.
The application consists of general
information and instructions; the
Standard Form 424 series, which
requests basic information, budget
information, and assurances; the Project
Description that requests the applicant
to describe how program objectives will
be achieved; and other assurances and
certifications. Guidance for the content
of information requested in the Project
Description is found in OMB Circular
A–102; 2 CFR, Part 215; 2 CFR, Part 225;
2 CFR, Part 230; 45 CFR, Part 74; and
45 CFR, Part 92.
