reviewed the application for exemption from licensing for the Byron 
Weston Hydroelectric Project, to be located on the East Branch of the 
Housatonic River, in the Town of Dalton, Berkshire County, 
Massachusetts, and has prepared an Environmental Assessment (EA). In 
the EA, Commission staff analyzes the potential environmental effects

environment.
