ACTION: Notice of open meeting.
AGENCY:
In accordance with the
Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice
is hereby given of a meeting of the FDIC
Advisory Committee on Community
Banking, which will be held in
Washington, DC. The Advisory
Committee will provide advice and
recommendations on a broad range of
policy issues that have particular impact
on small community banks throughout
the United States and the local
communities they serve, with a focus on
rural areas.
DATES: Friday, February 17, 2012, from
8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Type of Meeting: The meeting will be
open to the public, limited only by the
space available on a first-come, firstserved basis. For security reasons,
members of the public will be subject to
security screening procedures and must
present a valid photo identification to
enter the building. The FDIC will
provide attendees with auxiliary aids
(e.g., sign language interpretation)
required for this meeting. Those
attendees needing such assistance
should call (703) 562–6067 (Voice or
TTY) at least two days before the
meeting to make necessary
arrangements. Written statements may

Director of the ASC, 1401 H Street NW.,

must be received no later than 4:30
p.m., ET, on the Monday prior to the
meeting. Attendees must have a valid
government-issued photo ID and must
agree to submit to reasonable security
measures. The meeting space is
intended to accommodate public
attendees. However, if the space will not
accommodate all requests, the ASC may
refuse attendance on that reasonable

In accordance with the
requirements of the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C.
chapter 35), the OCC, the Board, and the
FDIC (the agencies), may not conduct or
sponsor, and the respondent is not
required to respond to, an information
collection unless it displays a currently
valid Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) control number.
On November 23, 2011, the agencies,
under the auspices of the Federal
Financial Institutions Examination
Council (FFIEC), published a notice in
the Federal Register (76 FR 72497)
requesting public comment on the
extension, without revision, of the
currently approved information
collections: the Country Exposure
Report (FFIEC 009) and the Country
Exposure Information Report (FFIEC
009a). The comment period for this
notice expired on January 23, 2012. No
comments were received. The agencies
are now submitting requests to OMB for
approval of the extension, without
revision, of the FFIEC 009 and FFIEC
009a reports.

or before March 5, 2012.
