1520. COTPs and District Commanders
will require individuals requesting a
MARSEC Directive to prove that they
meet the standards for a ‘‘covered
person’’ under 49 CFR 1520.7, have a
‘‘need to know’’ the information, as
defined in 49 CFR 1520.11, and that
they will safeguard the SSI in MARSEC
Directive 104–6 (Rev 6) as required in
49 CFR 1520.9.

ACTION:
The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS), has
submitted the following information
collection request for review and
clearance in accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The
information collection notice is
published to obtain comments from the
public and affected agencies. Comments
are encouraged and will be accepted for
sixty days until March 30, 2012.
During this 60-day period, USCIS will
be evaluating whether to revise the
USCIS Case Status Online. Should
USCIS decide to revise the USCIS Case
Status Online we will advise the public
when we publish the 30-day notice in
the Federal Register in accordance with
the Paperwork Reduction Act. The
public will then have 30 days to
comment on any revisions to the USCIS
Case Status Online.
Written comments and suggestions
regarding items contained in this notice,
and especially with regard to the
estimated public burden and associated
response time should be directed to the
