CSO has filed a combined
environmental and historic report
which addresses the effects, if any, of
the abandonment on the environment
and historic resources. OEA will issue
an environmental assessment (EA) by
January 13, 2012. Interested persons
may obtain a copy of the EA by writing
to OEA (Room 1100, Surface
Transportation Board, Washington, DC
20423–0001) or by calling OEA at (202)
245–0305. Assistance for the hearing
impaired is available through the
Federal Information Relay Service at 1–
(800) 877–8339. Comments on
environmental and historic preservation
matters must be filed within 15 days
after the EA becomes available to the
public.
Environmental, historic preservation,
public use, or trail use/rail banking
conditions will be imposed, where
appropriate, in a subsequent decision.
Pursuant to the provisions of 49 CFR
1152.29(e)(2), CSO shall file a notice of
consummation with the Board to signify
that it has exercised the authority
granted and fully abandoned the line. If
consummation has not been effected by
CSO’s filing of a notice of
consummation by January 9, 2013, and
there are no legal or regulatory barriers
to consummation, the authority to
abandon will automatically expire.

Federal Officer of the PCJC, has ordered
publication of this notice that the PCJC
will convene its next meeting on
January 17, 2012 at the White House,
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.,
Washington, DC, beginning at 2 p.m.
Eastern Time. The meeting will be
broadcast on the internet via live

live. The purpose of this meeting is to
discuss initiatives and policies to
strengthen the economy, promote and
accelerate job growth and bolster
America’s competitiveness around the
world. The President will continue the
discussion focused on identifying
practical ways the government and
business can work together to foster
growth and create jobs. Due to the
significant logistical difficulties of
convening the members of the PCJC, the
meeting has been scheduled with less
than 15 days notice (see 41 CFR 102–
3.150(b)).
