Council was re-chartered on April 8,
2010, to advise the Secretary of
Commerce on matters relating to the
U.S. manufacturing industry. No time
will be available for oral comments from
members of the public attending the
meeting. Any member of the public may
submit pertinent written comments
concerning the Council’s affairs at any
time before or after the meeting.
Comments may be submitted to Jennifer
Pilat at the contact information
indicated above. To be considered
during the meeting, comments must be
received no later than 5 p.m. Eastern
Time on January 13, 2012, to ensure
transmission to the Council prior to the
meeting. Comments received after that
date will be distributed to the members
but may not be considered at the
meeting.
Copies of Council meeting minutes
will be available within 90 days of the
meeting.

ACTION:
Notice.
It is the policy of the
Commission to publish settlements
which it provisionally accepts under the
Consumer Product Safety Act in the
Federal Register in accordance with the
terms of 16 CFR 1118.20(e). Published
below is a provisionally-accepted
Settlement Agreement with E & B
Giftware LLC, containing a civil penalty
of $550,000.00, of which $50,000 shall
be suspended, within twenty (20) days
of service of the Commission’s final
Order accepting the Settlement
Agreement.
SUMMARY:
Any interested person may ask
the Commission not to accept this
agreement or otherwise comment on its
contents by filing a written request with
the Office of the Secretary by January 6,
2012.
