Abstract: This regulation implements
withholding regime on partnerships
conducting business in the United
States that have foreign partners. Such
partners are required to pay withholding
tax in installments on each foreign
partner’s allocable share of the
partnership’s U.S. Business taxable
income. Special rules for publicly
traded partnerships such that these
partnerships pay withholding tax on
distributions to foreign partners.

The Veterans Benefits
Administration (VBA), Department of
Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an
opportunity for public comment on the
proposed collection of certain
information by the agency. Under the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995, Federal agencies are required to
publish notice in the Federal Register
concerning each proposed collection of
information, including each proposed
extension of currently approved
collection, and allow 60 days for public
comment in response to the notice. This
notice solicits comments on information
needed to assure that on the job training
establishments are providing veterans
with the appropriate rehabilitation
training.
