Information Center, Alaska State Office,
Bureau of Land Management, 222 West

may be obtained from this office for a
minimum recovery fee.
If a protest against the survey is
received prior to the date of official
filing, the filing will be stayed pending
consideration of the protest. A plat will
not be officially filed until the day after
all protests have been dismissed.
A person or party who wishes to
protest against this survey must file a
written response with the Alaska State
Director, Bureau of Land Management,
stating that they wish to protest.
Before including your address, phone

comment, you should be aware that
your entire comment—including your
personal identifying information—may
be made publicly available at any time.
While you can ask us in your comment
to withhold your personal identifying

In accordance with the
Federal Land Policy and Management
Act and the Federal Advisory
Committee Act of 1972, the U.S.
Department of the Interior, Bureau of
Land Management (BLM), Pecos District
Resource Advisory Council (RAC), will
meet as indicated below.
SUMMARY:
The meeting will be held on
January 18, 2012, from 10 a.m.–4:30
p.m. and January 19, 2012, from 8 a.m.–
3 p.m.
DATES:
The meetings will be at the
Bureau of Land Management Carlsbad
Field Office, 620 E. Greene, Carlsbad,
NM, on January 18, with a tour for RAC
members of a potash mine on January
19, 2012. The public may send written
comments to the RAC, 2909 W. 2nd
