a Transitional and Permanent Housing
Facility in Bath, NY
SUMMARY:
AGENCY:
Department of Veterans Affairs.
Notice of intent to enter into an
Enhanced-Use Lease (EUL).
ACTION:
The Secretary of VA intends
to enter into an EUL on an
approximately 2.6-acre parcel of land
that includes three buildings at the Bath
VA Medical Center in Bath, New York.
The selected lessee will finance, design,
develop, construct, renovate, manage,
operate and maintain the EUL
development. As consideration for the
lease, the lessee will be required to
construct, renovate, operate, and
maintain a transitional and permanent
housing facility, provide preference and
priority placement for Veterans and
their families, and provide a supportive
services program for resident Veterans.

services to eligible Veterans in the
geographic service-delivery area within
which the property is located. This
project meets this requirement.

and operate the EUL development. As
consideration for the lease, the lessee
will be required to construct, operate,
and maintain a permanent housing
facility; provide preference and priority
placement for homeless and at-risk
Veterans and their families; and provide
a supportive services program.
