The companies listed in this notice
have given notice under the Home
Owners’ Loan Act (HOLA) (12 U.S.C.
1461 et seq.), and Regulation LL (12 CFR
part 238) or Regulation MM (12 CFR
part 239) to engage de novo, or to
acquire or control voting securities or
assets of a company, including the
companies listed below, that engages
either directly or through a subsidiary or
other company, in a nonbanking activity
that is described in 238.53 or 238.54 of
Regulation LL (12 CFR 238.53 or 238.54)
or 239.8 of Regulation MM (12 CFR
239.8). Unless otherwise noted, these
activities will be conducted throughout
the United States.
Each notice is available for inspection
at the Federal Reserve Bank indicated.
The notice also will be available for
inspection at the offices of the Board of
Governors. Interested persons may
express their views in writing on the
question whether the proposal complies
with the standards of section
10a(c)(4)(B) of HOLA (12 U.S.C.
1467a(c)(4)(B)).
Unless otherwise noted, comments

AGENCIES:
Under the provisions of the
Paperwork Reduction Act, the
Regulatory Secretariat will be
submitting to the Office of Management
and Budget (OMB) a request to review
and approve an extension of a
previously approved information
collection requirement concerning the
Buy American Act—Construction
(Grimberg Decision). A notice was
published in the Federal Register at 76
FR 40367, on July 8, 2011. No comments
were received.
Public comments are particularly
invited on: Whether this collection of
information is necessary for the proper
performance of functions of the FAR,
and whether it will have practical
utility; whether our estimate of the
public burden of this collection of
information is accurate, and based on
valid assumptions and methodology;
ways to enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and ways in which we can
minimize the burden of the collection of
information on those who are to
respond, through the use of appropriate
technological collection techniques or
other forms of information technology.

A. Purpose
The clauses at FAR 52.225–9, Buy
American Act—Construction Materials,
and FAR 52.225–11, Buy American
Act—Construction Materials under
Trade Agreements, provide that
offerors/contractors requesting to use
foreign construction material, other than
construction material eligible under a
trade agreement, shall provide adequate
information for Government evaluation
of the request.
These regulations implement 41
U.S.C. chapter 83, Buy American, for
construction.
B. Annual Reporting Burden
Respondents: 500.
