General Description of Collection: An
insured state nonmember bank which
serves as a municipal securities dealer
must file Form MSD–4 or MSD–5, as
applicable, to permit an employee to
become associated or to terminate the
association with the municipal
securities dealer. FDIC uses the form to
ensure compliance with the professional
requirements for municipal securities
dealers in accordance with the rules of
the Municipal Securities Rulemaking
Board.
Request for Comment
Comments are invited on: (a) Whether
the collection of information is
necessary for the proper performance of
the FDIC’s functions, including whether
the information has practical utility; (b)
the accuracy of the estimates of the
burden of the information collection,
including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used; (c)
ways to enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and (d) ways to minimize the
burden of the information collection on
respondents, including through the use
of automated collection techniques or
other forms of information technology.
All comments will become a matter of
public record.

Advisory Committee on Community
Banking, which will be held in
Washington, DC. The Advisory
Committee will provide advice and
recommendations on a broad range of

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Agenda: The agenda will include a
discussion of current issues affecting
community banking. The agenda is
subject to change. Any changes to the

beginning of the meeting.
Type of Meeting: The meeting will be
open to the public, limited only by the
space available on a first-come, firstserved basis. For security reasons,
members of the public will be subject to
security screening procedures and must
present a valid photo identification to
enter the building. The FDIC will
provide attendees with auxiliary aids
(e.g., sign language interpretation)
required for this meeting. Those
attendees needing such assistance

TTY) at least two days before the
meeting to make necessary
arrangements. Written statements may
be filed with the committee before or
after the meeting. This Community
Banking Advisory Committee meeting
