Act. The purpose of the meeting is
review the status of approved projects
and consider ammendments to the
scope of work on projects funded for
implementation, approve meeting
minutes, set the next meeting date, time
and location and receive public
comment.
The meeting will be held
November 10, 2011, from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m.

be held in the fire center conference
room of the Ashley National Forest at
355 North Vernal Avenue, Vernal, Utah
84078. Written comments should be

The following business will be
conducted: (1) Welcome and roll call;
(2) Approval of meeting minutes; (3)
Review of approved projects and
modification to scope of work; (4)
review of next meeting purpose,
location, and date; (5) Receive public
comment. Persons who wish to bring
related matters to the attention of the
Committee may file written statements
with the committee staff before or after
the meeting. Public input sessions will
be provided and individuals who made
written requests by November 5, 2011
will have the opportunity to address the
committee at these meetings.

of the Louisiana Advisory Committee
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to
the provisions of the rules and
regulations of the U.S. Commission on
Civil Rights (Commission), and the
Federal Advisory Committee Act
(FACA) that a planning meeting of the
Louisiana Advisory Committee to the
Commission will convene by conference
call at 2 p.m. and adjourn at
approximately 5 p.m. on Monday,
November 7, 2011. The purpose of this
meeting is to continue planning the
Committee’s civil rights project.
This meeting is available to the public
through the following toll-free call-in
number: 1 (866) 393–8073, conference
call access code number *3046445*.
Any interested member of the public
may call this number and listen to the
meeting. Callers can expect to incur
charges for calls they initiate over
wireless lines, and the Commission will
not refund any incurred charges. Callers
will incur no charge for calls they
initiate over land-line connections to
the toll-free telephone number. Persons
with hearing impairments may also
follow the proceedings by first calling
the Federal Relay Service at 1–800–977–
8339 and providing the Service with the
conference call number and contact
name Farella E. Robinson.
To ensure that the Commission
secures an appropriate number of lines
for the public, persons are asked to
register by contacting Corrine Sanders of
the Central Regional Office and TTY/
TDD telephone number, by 4 p.m. on
November 1, 2011.
Members of the public are entitled to
submit written comments. The
comments must be received in the
regional office by November 18, 2011.
