Federal Register / Vol. 76, No. 161 / Friday, August 19, 2011 / Notices
Maintaining the wetlands at Kakahai’a
Refuge would require regular onsite
Refuge staff presence. The opportunities
for visitors to engage in compatible
wildlife-dependent recreation would
expand, depending on staffing. At a
minimum, a kiosk would be constructed
on an earthen mound along the Refuge
entrance road. Volunteer groups would
assist Refuge staff with restoration and
maintenance activities.
