The 10member Council advises the Secretary
of the Interior, through the BLM, on a
variety of planning and management
issues associated with the resource
management planning process for the
Dominguez-Escalante National
Conservation Area and Dominguez
Canyon Wilderness. Topics of
discussion during the meeting may
include informational presentations
from various resource specialists
working on the resource management
plan, as well as Council reports relating
to the following topics: Recreation, fire
management, land-use planning
process, invasive species management,
travel management, wilderness, land
exchange criteria, cultural resource
management, and other resource
management topics of interest to the
Council raised during the planning
process.
These meetings are anticipated to
occur monthly, and may occur as
frequently as every two weeks during
intensive phases of the planning
process. Dates, times and agendas for
additional meetings may be determined
at future Advisory Council Meetings,
and will be published in the Federal
Register, announced through local
media and on the BLM’s Web site for
the Dominguez-Escalante planning
effort, https://www.blm.gov/co/st/en/nca/
denca/denca_rmp.html.
These meetings are open to the
public. The public may present written
comments to the Council. Each formal
Council meeting will have time
allocated at the beginning and end of
each meeting for hearing public
comments. Depending on the number of
persons wishing to comment and time
available, the time for individual oral
comments may be limited at the
discretion of the chair.

Notice of public meeting.
In accordance with the
Federal Land Policy and Management
Act of 1976 (FLPMA), and the Federal
Advisory Committee Act of 1972
(FACA), the U.S. Department of the
Interior, Bureau of Land Management
(BLM) Northwest California Resource
Advisory Council Meeting is cancelled.
SUMMARY:
DATES: The meeting was originally
scheduled for Thursday and Friday,
August 11 and 12, 2011, at the Bureau
of Land Management Ukiah Field
Office, 2550 North State Street, Ukiah,
California. A new meeting date will be
announced later.

ACTION: Notice of Realty Action.
SUMMARY: The Bureau of Land
Management (BLM) proposes to sell two
parcels of public lands totaling
approximately 10 acres located in the
BLM Carson City District in Carson City,
Nevada. The sales will be conducted as
a competitive bid auction in which
interested bidders must submit written
sealed bids equal to, or greater than, the
appraised fair market value of the lands.
DATES: Interested parties may submit
written comments regarding the
proposed sales to the BLM on or before
September 8, 2011. The deadline for
submission of sealed bids will be
announced on the BLM Carson City
District Web site: https://www.blm.gov/
nv/st/en/fo/carson_city_field.html at
least 30 days prior to the sale date.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
competitive sales will be conducted
pursuant to Section 2601(d) of the
Omnibus Public Land Management Act
of 2009 (Pub. L. 111–11). Two parcels of
public land are proposed for
competitive sale in Carson City, Nevada.
One parcel, identified as the South
Edmonds Parcel, is on South Edmonds
Street in a residential area near Prison
Hill surrounded by private land. The
other parcel, identified as Parcel 1A, is
in the southwestern portion of the city
in the vicinity of the junction of U.S.
Highway 50 West and U.S. 395. This
