OEC,
formed under Title XVIII of the
Homeland Security Act of 2002, 6
U.S.C. 101 et seq., as amended, was
established to promote, facilitate, and
support the continued advancement of
communications capabilities for
emergency responders across the
Nation. The Broad Stakeholder Survey
is designed to gather stakeholder
feedback on the effectiveness of OEC
services and to gather input on
challenges and initiatives for
interoperable emergency
communications. The Broad
Stakeholder Survey will be conducted
electronically.
OMB is particularly interested in
comments that:
1. Evaluate whether the proposed
collection of information is necessary
for the proper performance of the
functions of the agency, including
whether the information will have
practical utility;
2. Evaluate the accuracy of the
agency’s estimate of the burden of the
proposed collection of information,
including the validity of the
methodology and assumptions used;
3. Enhance the quality, utility, and
clarity of the information to be
collected; and
4. Minimize the burden of the
collection of information on those who
are to respond, including through the
use of appropriate automated,
electronic, mechanical, or other
technological collection techniques or
other forms of information technology,
e.g., permitting electronic submissions
of responses.

The Homeland Security
Advisory Council (HSAC) will meet via
teleconference for the purpose of
deliberating on recommendations by the
HSAC’s Community Resilience Task
Force.
SUMMARY:
The HSAC conference call will
take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. E.D.T.
on Monday, June 27, 2011. Please be
advised that the meeting is scheduled
for one hour and may end early if all
business is completed before 2 p.m.
ADDRESSES: The HSAC meeting will be
held via teleconference. Members of the
public interested in participating in this
teleconference meeting may do so by
following the process outlined below
(see ‘‘Public Participation’’).
