AGENCY:
The Commission grants a
petition for rulemaking filed by
NewsChannel 5 Network, LLC
(‘‘NewsChannel 5’’), the licensee of
WTVF(TV), requesting the substitution
of channel 25 for channel 5 at Nashville.
According to NewsChannel 5, after
WTVF(TV) transitioned from its pretransition digital channel 56 to its posttransition digital channel 5, thousands
of calls were received from viewers that
could no longer view the station’s
digital signal.
DATES: This rule is effective July 11,
2011.
