Abstract: This document contains
regulations designed to eliminate
regulatory impediments to the
electronic filing of Form 1040, U.S.
Individual Income Tax Return. These
regulations generally affect taxpayers
who file Form 1040 electronically and
who are required to file any of the
following forms: Form 56, Notice
Concerning Fiduciary Relationship;
Form 2120, Multiple Support
Declaration; Form 2439, Notice to
Shareholder of Undistributed LongTerm Capital Gains; Form 3468,
Investment Credit; and Form T
(Timber), Forest Activities Schedules.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to this existing regulation.
Type of Review: Extension of
currently approved collection.
Affected Public: Business or other forprofit organizations and individuals or
households.
Estimated Number of Respondents: 1.
Estimated Time per Respondent: 6

provide guidance regarding the
treatment of stockbased compensation
for purposes of the rules governing
qualified cost sharing arrangements and
for purposes of the comparability factors
to be considered under the comparable
profits method.
