USCIS trained staff in USCIS District/Field Offices will be instructed to use SIT at the time of a required interview in connection with an immigration or naturalization benefit request, or at the time of an individual’s appearance at a USCIS District/Field Office to receive a document evidencing an immigration benefit, each instance following a required appearance at an Application Support Center (ASC) for fingerprinting.
