On April 21, 2011, the Secretary of HHS designated the following class of employees as an addition to the SEC: SUMMARY: All Atomic Weapons Employees who worked at the Linde Ceramics Plant in Tonawanda, New York, from January 1, 1954 through December 31, 1969, for a number of work days aggregating at least 250 work days, occurring either solely under this employment, or in combination with work days within the parameters established for one or more other classes of employees in the Special Exposure Cohort. This designation will become effective on May 21, 2011, unless Congress provides otherwise prior to the effective date. After this effective date, HHS will publish a notice in the Federal Register reporting the addition of this class to the SEC or the result of any provision by Congress regarding the decision by HHS to add the class to the SEC. Concerns for a globally consistent coding system for human cells, tissues and organs to facilitate national and international traceability of materials of human origin for transplantation will be solicited. In addition, the Committee will be asked for comments or recommendations on developing and promoting international best practices. The Advisory Group has been established as a non-discretionary Federal advisory committee. The Advisory Group has been established to provide recommendations and advice to the National Prevention, Health Promotion and Public Health Council (the ‘‘Council’’). The Advisory Group shall provide assistance to the Council in carrying out its mission. The Advisory Group membership shall consist of not more than 25 nonFederal members to be appointed by the President. The membership shall include a diverse group of licensed health professionals, including integrative health practitioners who have expertise in (1) worksite health promotion; (2) community services, including community health centers; (3) preventive medicine; (4) health coaching; (5) public health education; (6) geriatrics; and (7) rehabilitation medicine. On January 26, 2011, the President appointed 13 individuals to serve as members of the Advisory Group, and on April 8th, 2011 he named two new members.
