advisory functions under Section 206 of
the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention Act of 2002, 42 U.S.C. 5601,

from the Council of State Governments
on their statewide analysis of Texas
school records and the relationship
between school discipline and juvenile
justice; (b) presentations from Child
Trends on effective approaches to
school discipline and from the Liberty
LEADS college preparatory program for
at-risk youth; (c) an update on the
Consolidated Report of the Council’s
Issue Teams; and (d) agency
announcements and updates.
