SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The following business will be conducted: organize the committee, review the Secure Rural Schools Act and Title II guidelines specific to the purpose and duties of the RAC, introduce RAC members and federal officials involved with the committee management and guidelines for the operation of the RAC, schedule future meetings and begin the process of soliciting appropriate projects for nomination for funding. Anyone who would like to bring related matters to the attention of the committee may file written statements with the committee staff before or after the meeting. The agenda will include time for people to make oral statements of three minutes or less. Individuals wishing to make an oral statement should request in writing by May 6, 2011, to be scheduled on the agenda. The committee is authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community SelfDetermination Act (Pub. L. 110–343) (the Act) and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act. The meeting is open to the public. The purpose of the meeting is to review and consider a YCC project from Six Rivers National Forest that missed the submission deadline last year. The RAC committee will also be establishing a timeline for the upcoming year. SUMMARY: The Lake Tahoe Basin Federal Advisory Committee will hold a 
meeting on May 12, 2011 at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, 128 
Market Street, Stateline, NV 89440. This Committee, established by the 
Secretary of Agriculture on December 15, 1998 (64 FR 2876), is 
chartered to provide advice to the Secretary on implementing the terms 
of the Federal Interagency Partnership on the Lake Tahoe Region and 
other matters raised by the Secretary.

DATES: The meeting will be held May 12, 2011, beginning at 9 a.m. and 
ending at 12 p.m.
