Specifically, by letter dated January 31, 2011, FRA granted Amtrak limited, conditional relief from the requirements of 49 CFR 240.117(e)(1)– (4), 240.305(a)(1)–(4), 240.305(a)(6), and 240.307 as applicable to a proposed Confidential Close Call Reporting System (C3RS) pilot project.
