The purpose of the MOU is to establish, and build confidence in, a system that increases the likelihood that cantaloupes from Mexico offered for import into the United States comply with U.S. law. This legislation attempts to provide support for GME comparable to the level of Medicare GME support received by other, non-children’s hospitals.
