Such information must include an indication of the age group for which the program is intended. These requirements are intended to provide greater clarity about broadcasters’ obligations under the Children’s Television Act (CTA) of 1990 to air programming ‘‘specifically designed’’ to serve the educational and informational needs of children and to improve public access to information about the availability of these programs.
