Notice of Issuance; Correction.
This document corrects a
notice appearing in the Federal Register
on February 22, 2011 (76 FR 9827),
which informed the public that the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission was
considering the issuance of amendments
to Facility Operating License Nos. DPR–
42 and DPR–60, respectively, for the
Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant,
Units 1 and 2. This action is necessary
to correct the affected Facility License
and Docket Nos., since the amendment
request applies to Unit 1 only.

of Application for a Combined License
On March 27, 2008, South Carolina
Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G)
acting as itself and agent for the South
Carolina Public Service Authority also
known as Santee Cooper filed with the
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
(NRC, the Commission) pursuant to
Section 103 of the Atomic Energy Act
and Title 10 of the Code of Federal
Regulations (10 CFR) Part 52, ‘‘Licenses,
Certifications, and Approvals for
Nuclear Power Plants,’’ an application
for combined licenses (COLs) for two
AP1000 advanced passive pressurized
water reactors at the existing Virgil C.
Summer Nuclear Site (VCSNS) located
in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The
reactors are to be identified as VCSNS
Units 2 and 3. The application is
currently under review by the NRC staff.
An applicant may seek a COL in
accordance with Subpart C of 10 CFR
part 52. The information submitted by
the applicant includes certain
administrative information such as
financial qualifications submitted
pursuant to 10 CFR 52.77, as well as
technical information submitted
pursuant to 10 CFR 52.79. This notice
is being provided in accordance with
the requirements found in 10 CFR
50.43(a)(3).

a final environmental impact statement
(EIS), NUREG–1937, Environmental
Impact Statement for Combined
Licenses (COLs) at the South Texas
Project Electric Generating Station Units
3 and 4: Final Report’’ for the South
Texas Project Electric Generating
Station Units 3 and 4 COL application.
The draft EIS was published in March
2010; a notice of availability appeared
in the Federal Register on March 25,
2010 (75 FR 14474). The purpose of this
notice is to inform the public that the
final EIS is available for public
inspection. The final EIS may be viewed
