SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This
meeting is to review progress on the
observer restructuring regulatory
package, as well as discuss development
of a potential electronic monitoring
system design for less than 60 foot
vessels that are included under the
observer restructuring action. Electronic
monitoring may be a potential
alternative to an observer for some small
vessels that will be subject to sampling
and monitoring requirements under the
new observer restructuring regulations.

Although non-emergency issues not
contained in this agenda may come
before this group for discussion, those

section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens
Fishery Conservation and Management
Act, provided the public has been
notified of the Council’s intent to take
final action to address the emergency.
