Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency (OCC), Treasury.
ACTION: Notice and request for comment.
AGENCY:
The OCC, as part of its
continuing effort to reduce paperwork
and respondent burden, invites the
general public and other Federal
agencies to comment on a continuing
information collection, as required by
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
An agency may not conduct or sponsor,
and a respondent is not required to
respond to, an information collection
unless it displays a currently valid
Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) control number. The OCC is
soliciting comment concerning its
information collection titled, ‘‘Policy
Communications Survey.’’
DATES: Comments must be submitted on
or before March 7, 2011.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The OCC
is proposing to extend OMB approval of
the following information collection:
Title: Policy Communications Survey.
OMB Control Number: 1557–0226.
Description: This information
collection would provide the OCC with
information needed to properly evaluate
the effectiveness of the OCC’s policy
guidance, found in publications such as
bulletins, advisories, and the
Comptroller’s Handbook. The collection
would focus on one communications
product, issuances known as bank
supervision policy guidance.
Type of Review: Regular review.
Affected Public: Businesses or other
for-profit.
Estimated Number of Respondents:
3,000.
Estimated Total Annual Responses:
Estimated Frequency of Response: 1
to 2 times annually.
Estimated Time per Respondent: 10
minutes.
Estimated Total Annual Burden: 750
hours.
