SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The U.S.
monkfish fishery is jointly managed by
the NEFMC and the Mid-Atlantic
Fishery Management Council (MAFMC),
with the NEFMC having the
administrative lead. On November 30,
2010, the NEFMC, in coordination with
NMFS, published a Notice of Intent
(NOI) to prepare an EIS for Amendment
6 to the Monkfish FMP (75 FR 74005).
At that time only one hearing was
scheduled to be held on December 15,
2010 at 4:30 p.m. in conjunction with
the MAFMC meeting in Virginia Beach,
VA. On December 9, 2010, the NEFMC,
in coordination with NMFS, published
notification of additional public scoping
hearings that were scheduled following
the publication of the NOI for
Amendment 6 (75 CFR 76703). The
purpose of this notice is to alert the
interested public that the Portland, ME
hearing has been rescheduled from its
original 1 p.m. start time to 4 p.m. The
following schedule provides the
information for the rescheduled scoping
hearing.

draft final Skate Framework Adjustment
1 document and analysis using best
available data to recommend a change
in the skate wing possession limit for
fishing year 2011. The Oversight
Committee may also discuss other skate
management issues including but not
limited to the specification setting
process for fishing years 2012 and 2013,
if time permits. The Council will
approve a Framework Adjustment 1
alternative at the January Council
meeting intended to allow
implementation early in the 2011
fishing year.

The Corporation for National
and Community Service (hereinafter the
‘‘Corporation’’), as part of its continuing
effort to reduce paperwork and
respondent burden, conducts a preclearance consultation process to
provide the general public and federal
agencies with an opportunity to
comment on proposed and/or
continuing collections of information in
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) (44
U.S.C. Sec. 3506(c)(2)(A)). This program
helps to ensure that requested data can
be provided in the desired format,
reporting burden (time and financial
resources) is minimized, collection
instruments are clearly understood, and
the impact of the collection on
respondents can be properly assessed.
