AGENCY: On October 15, 2010, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) published a notice in the Federal Register (75 FR 63519), which announced, in part, that the public comment period for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC’s) Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed license renewal for operations at the Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. (NFS) fuel fabrication facility in Erwin, Tennessee, closed on November 13, 2010. The purpose of this notice is to extend the public comment period on the Draft EA and Draft FONSI to December 31, 2010. On October 26, 2010, the NRC held a public meeting in Erwin, Tennessee, as part of the public comment process for the Draft EA and Draft FONSI.
