Abstract: OIG is requesting an
approval by Office of Management and
Budget on an extension for the
collection of information to specifically
comply with the requirements in Title
19 of the Social Security Act at 1903 (q)
and 42 CFR1007.15 and 1007.17, in
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act. The information
collected consists of fifty separate
annual reports and fifty separate
application requests for Federal grant
certification/re-certification. The
collection is submitted yearly to the
Office of Inspector General (OIG) by the
fifty established State Medicaid Fraud
Control Units (Units). OIG uses the
information received to assess and
determine the Units’ eligibility for
continued participation in the Federal
Medicaid fraud control grant program.

Abstract: This request is for a 3-year
approval of the Family Planning Annual
service grantees, which include public
and private non-profit public heath
agencies. OPA uses FPAR data to
monitor compliance with statutory
requirements, to comply with
accountability and performance
requirements for GPRA and HHS plans,
and to guide program planning and
evaluation.

Proposed Project: Meeting Request
Routing System for
Abstract: In order to route product
developers to the most appropriate
personnel within the Department of
Health and Human Services (HHS), HHS
collects some basic information about
the company’s product through
MedicalCountermeasures.gov. Using
this information and a routing system
that has been developed with input
from participating agencies within HHS,
including the Office of the Assistant
Secretary for Preparedness and
Response (ASPR), the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA), and the National Institutes of
Health (NIH),
MedicalCountermeasures.gov routes the
meeting request to the appropriate
person within HHS. ASPR is requesting
an extension by OMB for a three-year
clearance.
