DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT
HUD announces the
availability on its website of the
applicant information, submission
deadlines, funding criteria, and other
requirements for the FY2010 Family
Unification Program. This Notice of
Funding Availability (NOFA)
announces the availability of
approximately $15 million for new
incremental voucher assistance to
provide adequate housing as a means to
promote family unification through the
FUP. In accordance with the
Consolidated Appropriations Act 2010,
this funding must be provided to Public
Housing Agencies with demonstrated
experience and resources for supportive
services, as evidenced by the executed
Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
with the Public Child Welfare Agency
(PCWA).
The notice providing information
regarding the application process,
funding criteria and eligibility
requirements can be found using the
Department of Housing and Urban
Development agency link on the
Grants.gov/Find Web site at https://
www.grants.gov/search/agency.do. A
link to Grants.gov is also available on

announces the availability on its Web
site of revisions to the Section 8
Renewal Policy Guide Book, which is
HUD’s comprehensive guidance for
renewing expiring Section 8 contracts.
In addition, HUD will be accepting and
considering comments from the public,
which should be submitted in
accordance with the instructions in the
ADDRESSES section of this notice. HUD
will publish the draft changes to the
Guide Book on its Web site, along with
a transmittal notice summarizing the
changes, at https://www.hud.gov/offices/
hsg/mfh/mfhsec8.cfm during the public
comment period.
Comment Due Date: November 15,
2010.

AGENCY:
We, the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, invite the public to
comment on the following applications
to conduct certain activities with
endangered species. With some
exceptions, the Endangered Species Act
(ESA) prohibits activities with listed
species unless a Federal permit is issued
that allows such activities. The ESA
requires that we invite public comment
before issuing these permits.
