SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: We are soliciting public comments to permit the Department to: • Evaluate whether the proposed information collection is necessary for the proper performance of our functions. • Evaluate the accuracy of our estimate of the burden of the proposed collection, including the validity of the methodology and assumptions used. • Enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected. • Minimize the reporting burden on those who are to respond, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of technology. Abstract of proposed collection: Form DS–1622(P) and DS–1843(P) are designed to collect medical information to provide medical providers with current and adequate information to base decisions on medical suitability for a federal employee and family members for assignment abroad. DS–1622 is for Children 11 years and under. DS–1843 is for Children 12 years and older. All forms will allow medical personnel to verify that there are sufficient medical resources at a diplomatic mission abroad to maintain the health and fitness of the individual and family members within the Department of State medical program. Methodology: The information collected will be collected through the use of an electronic forms engine or by hand written submission using a preprinted form. L. 111–117), I hereby determine and certify that: (1) The herbicide used for aerial eradication of illicit crops in Colombia is being used in accordance with EPA label requirements for comparable use in the United States and in accordance with Colombian laws; (2) the herbicide, in the manner it is being used, does not pose unreasonable risks or adverse effects to humans or the environment including endemic species; and (3) complaints of harm to health or licit crops caused by such aerial eradication are thoroughly evaluated and fair compensation is being paid in a timely manner for meritorious claims.
